Driven Below is a metal band based out of Dallas, Texas. Formed in 2013, Driven Below is a band of seasoned musicians from several well-established DFW bands featuring members Danny Reid (Within Chaos--Koch/E1 Records) on vocals, Jim Taylor (Within Chaos--Koch/E1 Records) on bass, Rob (Low Gear) on guitars, Jacob Flores (Low Gear/Lesser Known God) on guitar, and Tombone Crooks (Lesser Known God, Jacknife--Zero-Sum Records) on drums. Driven Below draws influence from bands such as Meshuggah, Machine Head, Emmure, and The Acacia Strain.
Look, I can't sit here and pretend I am impartial about a band that's chock full of dudes from bands I love, so I won't bother. I included the youtube video because it was the first thing I found with Danny singing instead of Eric Daughtry (The Destro), who was the singer on the EP they have on ReverbNation.
